vehicle graphics: Rhythm Roadshow
Posted by Neil Davey on November 19, 2005 at 4:48 pmHere is one I did not so long ago.
All vinyl with a white airbrushed fade to bottom of letters then frogjuiced.
Hope the pic is not too bad, lot of sun that day.

Nice van Neil, well done mate…
Blue vans can be of a pain when it comes to colour choice, (limited use of colours) but you have done it nicely. Only thing I would add is, the words disco and karaoke would have finished the back nicely too. Thanks for taking the time to show your work mate.

Yeh Rob it’s difficult to see but the Disco and Karaoke is above the windows on the back doors. Name is also on the bonnet and I added a blue sunstrip with Disco & Karaoke on the windscreen.
Logo is my design too, it was one of those that came really easy, nice to get them from time to time, customer gave me a basic black on white business card and said do whatever you want. Once he saw the colour proof he couldn’t wait to get it done.
Oh and the rear windows windows are tinted which really puches out the name.
thanks Neil

Well done Neil. I really like this. Nice & clean design. I usually find the designs that come easy are the best most times.

Hi Neil
Now that is nice. It’s got one of those ‘grab your attention’ looks. The only thing I’m not sure about is the space under the log on the back, I think I would have tried to put the ‘Disco & karaoke’ in there instead of above the doors. Even so, it is a really nice looker, well done. 😀
BTW Can you tell me, was the logo font as it is, or did you tweek it yourself, cos it works really well. I especially like the fade.

Hi Lorraine
The font is called Juice and yes I tweaked it, moving letters above and below the baseline and added a little rotation.
I wanted the lettering to represent notes on a musicall staff (?).Regards Neil
