    Hi all
Working today. Three quotes. Install two small shop signs and this van. First time really using printed vinyls this large. Messed one up on Friday for the rear door so it needs redoing 👿 😥 😳

Sides O.K. but the odd bubble. MANY MANY thanks to John Simpson for the printing, help and encouragement whilst doing this project. Easy once you have the experience as most of you all do, but a few tense moments for us this afternoon!
However, cant wait to do the next one :lol1: 😮

John you are a star. Beers on me at Sign UK!!! (!)

    Peter.

looks OK to me Peter. only comment about the back doors is (it could be the angle of the camera) that the print doesn’t look to be centre !

secret to finding the middle of print is to fold it in half & put a small crease top centre & bottom centre before you offer it up to the van, then put the crease in gap of join of rear doors, tape in place then of you go.

looks centred to me, it’s the dog thats off centre, perhaps giving you that impression ? good tip about finding centre though !

    like it over all !

Hugh, i am looking at the banner on the print, gap on left is bigger than gap on the right end of banner to the edge of the door…..could still be the camera angle though.

Afraid I must agree with John (looks very nice by the way), could be camera angle but it looks about an inch too far to the right.

I drive my wife and friends mad with things like this, thats crooked, this is off center, thats mis-aligned etc etc. I’m by no means perfect (far from it) but I can’t pass any sign or van without scrutinising…sad hey!!!

    Hi all
    Thanks for the comments.
I think you are right John it is slightly off centre. As you know, being replaced anyway as I had a little accident!! 😳

Peter I reckon that back dooe looks fine.
The dog may be off centre in the actual design, but overall, it seems fairly well balanced by the bone on the lower right.
The total size/length of the piece looks OK and well set up.

When are you doing the next one ?

    best

    Looks Ok to me Peter

Thats a typical example of work that could have been done in cut vinyl as well. But with far more materials and time. The print route probably worked out cheaper and less hassle? and also better for conforming to the recesses.

Good job Peter. I agree with John re the back but it is being done again anyway.

I find the Iveco sides a real pain, don’t you.

… 😉 the next one will be easier….

Hi all thanks again for the input.
Yes Shane I was nervous about the vans sides but they weren’t too bad. I did lose a bit of sleep over it though. Still next one coming soon!
I have got a fleet of coaches coming up soon That will be interesting!

    Cheers all Peter
