After seeing Rab’s paintball van we thought we would show the one we did recently.
The brief was that he was just starting the business and if it went well he would sell his other business and concentrate on this one. He wanted the van to stand out anywhere and from a distance.
We did the original design (unfortunately I have deleted it so can’t show you the difference) using splats similar to Rabs.
Nope that wasn’t hard enough. He didn’t want the paint to look as though it trickled down the victim. So we hardened it up but on its own looked rather ridiculous.
Fortunately for us my mate had an embroidery pattern showing the shooter. One quick print, trace and vector later it was ready to install.
    The customer loved it 😀
We then explained to him that our vinyl isn’t the best for wrapping over corners and such but he explained it had to last only a year as he will be getting a new van for the start of the next season.
We use (at the moment) Hexis 5000 series.
We used lots of heat and with patience we finally got it into the recesses. (We hadn’t discovered the UKSG at the time 😥 😥 )
We wanted to add a trail of smaller paint splats leading from the shooter to the main one but the customer didn’t.

How would you have improved it??

    Keith
