Oooow so keen to show us you have sent it twice, thanks.

Great to hear you are underway and more vans to go, wow!

Like the logo, but would have reduced it to fit the rear panel better, and not spread the green items down the van side, they have become distorted. You don’t have to try and fill the whole van side with the text. (My opinion anyway)

Good on you for biting the bullet and getting started, and welcome aboard, make sure you show us the rest of the vans when they are done.

As Dave said, you picked a bit of an awkward shape van for a first effort !
The levels are a s*d to get right with some designs on those astras at the best of times.
Keep showing us your stuff and feel free to ask any questions you like theres plenty of help available here !!

For a first project you should be proud, it looks fantastic 😀 Not long since I started myself, so I know its all go, go and a little more go, but this is the way to do it! Get stuck in and try your hand at everything, thats what I say 😀

I think you did a great job.
I like how you ignored the shape of the van
and treated the whole thing like a billboard.
Over there, your vans have all those crazy panels
and moldings, and I feel that it can limit people
who might be a bit afraid to “think out of the box”.
Distortion schmistortion….I’d rather see this than
arched and waved Brush Script, etc,
My only critique might be that you needed a wee
bit more negative space along the top, and to
tighten up your elements. You have a good eye.
And I am afraid of sticking stickers too! I hate it!
But I do it every day & I love designing on a computer.
For a newbie….You done good!

thanks everyone, it’s really nice that you found time to comment on what is obviously a really basic first piece, but, none the less is was important to me! I’ve been a little overwhelmed by the amount of work I’ve got in already and am really enjoying what I’m doing. I’m really keen to learn, and although I haven’t got much to offer anyone else at the moment, I’m absorbing everything on this site like a sponge and hope one day to be in a position to offer critique myself. My only concern is that I’m eight months pregnant and I’m going to have to slow down for a couple of months – how inconvenient when I’m having so much fun! Nelijane x
