Mike your right about the blue stripe, the logo is vinyl and we charged them £195 for the van, we think thats a bit cheap but we are still struggling to sort out prices which are fair without ripping the customer off, I know of some local companies who would have charged a lot more. I know you are in a different area and this will affect pricing but what do you think you would have charged for this job?
In fact it might help if more people gave me an idea of what they might have charged, if you dont want to put anything up in public then PM me.

Anything on the back Martin? – I think we would have charged a similar amount if we had done it as a “one off”. The Crown looks a bit complex – not sure how many colours are in it? The rest would have been quite easy and quick to apply.

I think it’s a good idea to indicate the prices charged on jobs – Helps us all to get our act together and get prices in line with the industry average. I’ll update my postings with prices charged.

If there’s a small set on the back too…probably about the £400 mark…

…that would include colour drawings and the repro on their logo first of all.

The sides are similar, 5 pub names on each side, the back has the logo, name, tel/fax number and text saying “10venues throughout Fife”. the bonnet has the logo.
As for colours Phill, Dark blue outer elipse, yellow inner elipse,black background to crown, then gold, light and dark red and lastly white.

7 Phill if my counting is correct.

Mike we have already done a couple of jobs for them so there probably wouldnt have been a repro charge for the Logo, mind you I dont think we ever did charge for the \logo reproduction.

Nice job Martin – I think I’d have looked for at least another £100 for all that work though. I know a company who have loads of vans and a dead simple logo with very little work involved and they are getting charged £200 for a crap job! (Whoever does them must use a pair of blunt scissors to cut vinyl). I’m trying to get in there (I too can do crap jobs for loads a money(joke)).
