Finally lettered my truck last week…. had this truck since last December, just got around to it.
I like it but i want to do some more to it.. maybe a partial wrap in the back somewhere
Colors inspired by Stevo’s “guinness” from a demo.
Fonts inspired by (stolen From) Jill.

Edit: Only the bottom fonts i stole…
The word Gear I drew a few years back, and i’ve stuck with it so far.
Anyone guess what Font that started as???

Well done mate. I like that a lot. Always have difficulty coming up with a good result on a dark car, but this suits the situation perfectly. As Steveo says, just the right amount of ‘jazz’ (or tho it sounds better coming from steve with that brush in his mouth zoro style)

It looks great steve. what media have you used, or is it handpainted / airbrushed ?

Lovely truck too, if only we had your gas prices here in the UK. . I’m so jealous you have a Dodge Ram as your work vehicle !

I’m honored that I inspired you, Steve.
I think you did a fine job.
    Stevo, I think that’s Tallington?

All the other stuff you posted is nice as well, I am just too lazy to type!

Thanks all! hard taking compliments from my Heros!
I played with that for hours and I think i cut about 11 letter “g”‘s and put on the truck with differnt color combinations.
the font i started with for the word gear is Revue….
    here’s the evolution

Ahhhhhh so that’s what it was! That’s cool man! I like the fact that you didn’t settle to use just another font.

    Keep it up!

Steve, I really like all your work you’ve posted today. No wonder you want Jill to come & help-you’ve been so busy!

I want to try using those little flashes….just thinking what work I have coming in to use them on…

    Thanks again all….
Feels good to think that i’m doing o.k.
I struggle with design a lot, and all of you here have been a great help.
I’m looking forward to improving, but reassurance that i’m on the right track helps a lot!

I’m reading Mike Steven’s Mastering Layout now and it’s also a great help. I realized i need to develope skills in quite a few areas.

Atta boy! That’s a good read.
I’m still developing my skills too, what sets a good designer apart from the pack is that motivation to learn, try new things and really is never satisfied. I can look at some of the work I did as little as a month ago and see flaws and improvements I could’ve made. Those little things will carry over to the next design and so on and so on. It’s a never ending process and I’m glad to see someone enthusiastic about it.
