vehicle graphics: business insurance bureau
Posted by Marcella Ross on June 8, 2006 at 7:51 pmHere’s a job done today …… worst customer in the history of customers …. sent their PR girl to show us how to stick the vinyls on!!!! Asked us to stick them straight, and did we know the front of the roof was curved ….. and put the logo here on the doors…… blah blah blah! Pain in the rear end! What made it worse is that the boss is a ‘part time’ artist!!!!! This has been going on for 7 months, their final draft was confirmed 10 days ago……….. after she kept changing fonts, moving bits 2cm…!
Thank god the job is done! 😀John Wilson replied 17 years, 10 months ago 14 Members · 21 Replies -

Nice job on the car though,
I love the new mini I think it’s the best designed everyday car of the past decade by a mile.

didn’t like her? I didn’t like the company 4 months ago …. I wasn’t going to like whoever turned up, even if it was male 6ft 6 with erect nipples! :lol1:

looks luvvly jubbly, is it all cut, or did the light play tricks and make it look like a printed fade?
How big did the tweaked nipples get?
Say compared with rowntrees pastiles?

It was all cut vinyl no fades just the sunlight playing tricks! The logos have silver borders which makes it look like fades.
As for the nipples….. easily the size of Rowntree fruit pastilles…. but John managed to resist the temptation to chew!!! 😀

with all that agro Marcella the price must have been right or worth it 🙂

What a twat!
I would have said, "Here hon, lemme get my vise grips…that oughta make those nips REALLY stick out!"Anyway, the car looks good. I especially like the clever placement of the phone number.
Bet that curve was a bear to plan out correctly.

are you sure she wasn`t looking for her blue tooth 😕
great work tho mate, personally i would have told her to p*ss off and find some one else to fuss at 😳

Jill, the curve wasn’t too bad. I curved it on screen as close as I could before cutting it, when it was placed on the car just a little adjustment was needed.
Phill – no pic of the PR girl ….. but in my humble opinion, she was a double bag job anyway 😉 (you know, paper bag over head then another just in case one ripped!) She wasn’t a slim girl either, but all t1ts and teeth. As John said……. ‘you would…. if you were drunk’! 😮
Roy – she was looking for her brain! 😀

Excellent job Marcella, I am suitably impressed.
Where did you start laying down the bonnet logo, righthand side? There is some curve on it both ways too.
Cheers
