vehicle graphics: altec sound & lighting
did this one over christmas, beofore any one laughs at it, i know its rubish
but the client, told me, no script, easy to read, & the main title has to go at the top all on the one line, i would have done it differently, he also chose the colours, he was happy with the job, but i wasnt!
lately i seem to be doing jobs that i have no say in the design 😡
well i suppose the money still looks the same..eddie

Don’t knock yerself eddie, it dosen’t look too bad but I often get customers who “design” their own logos. You just have to go with the flow sometimes………keeps the BMW going mate! 😉

I hope you got him to sign an affadavit promising not to tell anyone you did his van 😉
Seriously though – You’ve given him what he wants even though you know you could have made it look better. Some customers simply have no taste what so ever. You could of course have walked away from this job – but if you’re getting well paid for it why should you 😎
We’re all in this business to make a living after all.

Eddie, I wouldnt let it bother you to much, as the others have said its not that bad and if the customer dictated to you what he wanted and where it was to go your hands are tied, if you hadent done it like this someone else would have and the money is better off in your pocket. I have done quite a few jobs where the customer knows more about layout and design than I do !! I just bite my lip and get on with it, as I have already said if you dont do it someone else will.
I have a couple of these jobs in the portfolio and always point out to potential customers that we didnt do the design work on them.
