vehcle graphics – Audi VW LT
this is one of a few vehicles we did in a VW garage we do allot of work “for” another one of our good customers in an audi garage? 😕 :lol1:
anyway… the design, fonts, sizes etc were all designed by audi’s people.
but… the customer (audi glasgow) were sent it in KIT form and fited by another sign firm. the sign firm were making a backside of the fitting and audi were charging a fortune for their vinyl kit.
the depot asked us what we could offer, so andrew re-done their digital print of the audi logo in vinyl. and we both fitted them. the whole thing ws done as a sort of favour. not allot of time taken over the fitting. but a damn site better than the butchers that fitted all the others 😉 :lol1:

i dont’t i hate them, i refuse/hate doing their donkey work.
however, when i say/mean donkey work, i mean their flourescent orange, huge text, £9999 on the road adverts along 15 cars in their showroom window. (even here we get paid, just not enogh to consider it worth downing tools for one customer, to move to another.)this stuff is cast off, from contract work. hense why we did it for a song!

!me neither…ive got a local sign bloke (no competition to me) that will do a whole van wait for it……………£40 😮 he will even travel to do stripes for £4 a car or van………….. 🙄 the mind boggles 😀

Nearly as mad as one company in Dundee that promised to do a……transit for £60 – I wouldn’t even do a whole Fiesta for that!
Nice job with the van though Rob. I get a little bit of garage work from one branch when they want a ‘proper job’ for new vehicle launches & banners, I’m sure the ‘guy that turns up with his van’ just does the £9999’s as I don’t think they were too impressed with my realistic price structure. :lol1:
