vector art work
hi all i have given up on some art work i have been given
the drawing has been copied fro a photo and made in to a vector lien drawing but its just the cut path could you have a look and let me know if this can be sorted in to a cuttable vector file

Do you want the ikkle robot? With the silver outline round all the colours? I might be able to draw it in a bit, but got a server problem to sort out first in work. Then a meeting tonight @ 6. If I get chance, I’ll do it and post it here.

depending on how much the job is worth to you – just send it to Andrew at Vectorwise.Its always money well spent in my opinion.
You’ll have a perfect vector to cut from within 24 hours.

hi i know where your coming from and I’m not asking for it to be done as a free mans just would like to know if there is something i can do with the vector file i have be given to make it cut table
the file i think has been made in an auto cad programme which i don’t understand however the drawing is a vector filemany thanks rich

Hello m8 ive had a look at this file, yes its possible but needs plenty of work, the ears and the heart for example dont come as a solid piece, theyre made up in sections which all need joining together or redrawing etc someone may have a simpler solution tho

i did play about in flexi adding outlines etc etc but as you say some paths are open and not finished
i will have to get back to the customer if al else fails
had him on the phone today asking how i was getting on
i have now had a chat with the guy that did the vector file from the picture i posted so may be he will understand what were after

I’ve put this into Coreldraw and converted outlines to objects, which seems to have got rid of the open paths. Might help. Looks like the curves need re-doing though.
