Just a couple of jobs we’ve completed last week, the Mercedes is for the Gumball rally and the VX220 appearing on an exhibitors stand at Le Mans.
Hope you like them! Dave & Rob 😎

    Looking Sweeeeeet!!

How did you get the bonnet vinyl done on the Merc? It looks like the red fades into chrome silver?

Red base layer, with silver gerber edge fade into silver vinyl, with a chrome stripe overlayed onto that.

I’d love to get a job in like those! All I get is "I ‘might’ want such and such on my Saxo…." and never hear from them again. Not that I’m complaining about Saxo’s or anything, just people round my area want everything for free. Never mind!

Really impressive work there Dave, did you draw all the VXR logos etc? I’ve been looking out for VXR stuff.

Yes, we redrew the logo’s after photographing an original, which was looking pretty worn

Gorgeous. Why can’t I have my ‘boyracers’ turn up in that?

Ah, so THAT’S what those VXR logos were for!

Thats the NUTS! I like the way the SLR is not over the top. Black and Silver works very well with me and the red sets it off well.

At first he wanted the car virtually covering in the chrome vinyl to replicate the f1 car, not a chance! Chrome vinyl doesnt like curves!

I read somewhere on the boards that coburn now do a flexible chrome,
I think dorotape stock it, might be worth a look at.

    They are brilliant.

The cars on their own are nice but you’ve done a great job of enhancing their features. Love it.

    I’m not worthy. 😎

Brilliant Dave, just brilliant. Well done mate

Coburns chrome is very good peter, but not as flexible as you’d need to do a wrap style of thing.
