only the very slightest of curves.
as for the Astra i have not done the latest one yet and don’t really want to.
i am totally convinced that the astra designers had it in for sign people from the word go. if you fit as the drawing then its wrong angles and is my pet hate as you see so many incorrectly fitted.chris

And the new shape Expert/Scudo/Dispatch is going to give us the same problems.

Hi john
i did an expert the other day, not to many problems, its a great looking van I think

Yeah, it’s a good looking van right enough, but it has the Astra problem of no two lines being parallel, so whatever we put on is going to look on the squint. We’re just trying to adapt a customer’s existing layout to suit the new shape and it is a job to know what to do for the best.
The recessed sides (a la Berlingo) are going to cause us problems with some customers as well, where their existing designs go over those areas. Not that we won’t be able to do it but, because I am going to have to explain to them why the price must rise due to having to use better material and take more time.
I did love that old shape. Made my job easy. 😀
