Have just had to go and remove a photo print we did about 2 months ago.

It’s reverse applied onto 5mm polycarb backed with white and screwed onto slatted timber.

The problem is the vinyl has bubbled/melted in places and in every place there is some stain adhered to the vinyl as it seems it wasn’t 100%dryed out at the time of fitting.

    Any-one come across this previous??

    Cheers,

    Fred

Not come across this but have had another issue:

Polycarb is never 100% stable, there may always be some outgassing, as such if you put a poster or menu inside a unit with a polycarb face the ink may react and stick to the polycarb if they make contact.

Not sure if this has any impact on the issue you have. Did the print have an overlaminate or white coating? If not the stain may have just reacted with inks?
