van wrap: own van
Posted by Bruno Raworth on January 31, 2007 at 5:59 pmThis month usually more quiet than the rest for us, so we tend to re-do the van…..latest incarnation! Interesting to see other ‘Reader’s Vans’?

Looks good Bruno! We are extremely busy right now so I had to put off the plans to re-do our own vans. I like the rear how the eye is peeking through the zipper. Few questions:
1) What kind of printer was this printed on?
2) What material was it printed on?
3) What software did you use to build the files?Sorry for bein a pain, I just like to know what other people are doin and how they do it because you never know, there might be a better way then someone is currently doing it.

Looks good to me Bruno. I like the zippy chameleon the main graphic is excellent to, modern materials with a traditional look,

Hi George,
All printed on a Soljet SC500…bit slow nowadays!, laminated Avery EZ vinyl
background and shadow work Photoshopped, then logo etc. dropped over in CS2. Ripped through Roland Colourchoice…no tiling facility, so bit of a pain in the derrier!Bruno

No way are you seeing anyone else’s vans now.

That’s amazing. A terrific advert for your business. Well done 😀

Bruno, looks good as most have said and will certainly get noticed which helps people to remember you. When I had my van I had a zip up the back doors but mine was all done in cut vinyl not printed. Most people knew me by my van so it acted as a very good marketing tool.

That’s awesome Bruno, got a cool airbrushed feel about it.
Only thing I don’t like is you’ve got it!!! 😉

Don’t want to sound like a parrot, but that is superb Bruno.
When can I book mine in to be done 😀

This praise is intoxicating 😎 Still like to see the other wagons out there!

:appl: Lost for words mate (which my wife tells me she has never seen before 😮 ) Excellent. I’ll get mine done after Martins.
I’ve just taken all my stuff off to redo it, but now got too much work to spare the time this month. Now I’m a sign shop with no signs on my own van 🙁 Every time my dad see my van he just shakes his head, looks to the sky, and walks away. 😕

Excellent mate. Very jealous. You now need some nice alloys to do it justice though! 😉

That looks fantastic Bruno, yours must have been the van the guys here saw when they were down your way (Chichester area I think).
I wanted to do the zip idea on our vans just didn’t have the time to get it sorted!!I’ve attached a couple of pics of our 206, just got to do our Trafic like it now. I am going to change the word signs though to something a bit nicer.
cheers
