• Van sizes needed.

Does anyone have a Vehicl outlines disc that they can get some ideas of sizing from for me?

I have to do magnetic signs for the sides of following vans and want to produce them all to the same size (or one size for bigger and one for the smaller) if possible?

    Astra

    Escort

    Peugeot Partner

    VW transporter

    Renault Traffic

    Peugeot Boxer

    Thanks

impacts got probably the most accurate vehicle outline on the go, but there are a few on the market.
if you mean you need sizes to cut the mag to approx sizes then thats ok.. but dont go by exact sizes they are not always spot on for contours, corner radiouses etc… but good none the less……

    Rob,

I just need a general size to work to so that my artwork is about right. I can visualise some of the vans but don’t know if e.g. the VW has 2 small panels or one large one etc., Hoping someone might have a disc and be able to say ‘do em all 1100 x 300 and you’ll be ok.

Dont want to spoil your job for you Martin but this might not be the best way to make these magnetics.
We have done some livery for a local van rental business. When the owner first spoke to us he wanted as much impact from the vehicles as possible but was looking for a sort of one size fits all livery. We explained to him that this probably wasnt possible but we had a go anyway. On the small vans the “one size fits all kit” looked great but on the larger vans it looked completly lost because it was far to small. We now do sets for specific vehicles for him. You might well find the same with the magnetics, on some vans it will look good and on others because the panels are much bigger it will look a little lost.
