I was wondering if any of you guys would like to give me ideas of what you would charge for these 3 different vans, I ask because i know only a select few can get this part of the site!!
im only begining to use biger images and i dont fully know my pricing structure for them yet, but i would start at £250 for the simple van
PS the text and logo are his already, i know they suck 😕
your help here would be greatly appreciated

A. Intermediate – £245
B. Part Colour – £327
C. Full Colour – £395Taken from Price It Guide working on a Large Van, I think id probably add 10 – 15% on the prices they give though.

Not wanting to go too far OT but does anyone use the Price It guide and what are your opinions on it?

Nope don’t bother, depends on the job, our time etc.

Paul as I am quite new to the trade I do have a copy of it, but I really only use it as a reference to check my own pricing, i.e I will price a job using my own structure and then check it against the guide. It is handy in this way as it has stopped me underselling my work a couple of times, although some of the vehicle pricing seems a bit low to me. Anyone else got any thoughts?
Thanks

I think I may be using the guide wrong as when you get to the back it also mentions fitting at £26.66 per hour. Do we add the fitting time to the prices given for the vans?

John – just looking at the image size and placement…are you confident doing partial wraps?
I’d be about:
A – £260
B – £420
C – £580The ‘price it guide’ is no use for this sort of spec as ‘full colour’ doesn’t even come close to the time & labour involved for partial wraps.
The A – can be done in a matter of a relaxed 4 hours – cut & fitted.
B & C – considerably longer start to finish bearing in mind the design, print, dry, laminate, cut vinyl & apply. IMO – my B&C prices are underpriced for the time spent v’s monetary return, but it what my market will stand.

david i have a few jobs with imaging under the belt, but as i said i dont want to be that guy down the road that is underpricing and i also want to get what the job is worth
Cheers to everyone that gave advice on this one and i think i should try for the higher end of the scale, over here in N.I. its hard to get the customer to spend more, they all want the cheep job but it is starting to get thru that image is very important.
i read something once were the guy made the point that a basic van could be £200.00 and the customer turns his nose up!! tell him to price a crappy small 1 month ad in his local paper an see how much that will run him and which gets him more work the van or the ad
thanks again everyone
