    nice graphic! 😛

cons crit. the telephone number looks too big. the company name should be more prominent (hits your eyes first) when you look at the van!! the kitchen centre ltd, i would have used another type it over powers the primrose!! my opinion of coarse

    Yep my thoughts too Nik.
Also Glossop and the associated text looks an afterthought, plenty of room available, good graphic
spoiled only by the very unbalanced layout.

Our initial design was rejected by the customer, the only thing left from our original design is the print. This is what happens when the customer thinks they are the designer but when they’re paying the money it is their opinion which is paramount.

I agree. Frustrates the hell out of me when the customer makes changes to artwork that look worse than your own advice. But then, they have the money. I just leave my name off the sign so no one can blame me!

    nice work tho.

its a shame when we dont feel like puttoing our name on something we have done but love the idea of the graphic and judging by your other stuff your origanal design would have been spot on

    nice, eye catching job!
good to see people getting into this type of idea rather than just simple ‘business card’style graphics. out of interest what vinyl did you print the wrap on?

    regards

The VWS is very nice to apply. The vehicle (and recesses) shown are probably at about the limit of it’s capabilities though. Looks well fitted, tidy.

i agree with G regarding KPMF… the recessed panels should be fine but i would keep an eye on the recessed area were the sliding door bracket would sit.

i think i’ve rattled a few cages here, with my opinion of signdevils van!! 😮

if so, i will not apologies for my comments!! reason being, i have been in the trade so long (like most folk here) i cannot just say ‘oh that layout is nice’ (when i know it’s not) it’s not fair to new comers either, the whole point of the boards is to let people know whats wrong & whats right !! if we don’t the new folk won’t learn anything!! 😀 😀

but i will apologise to signdevil, i should have realised at the time of posting you have done terrific stuff in the past, and i did not state that at the time!! 😛 😛

    sorry Nik 😉 customers…….. 😮 😮

couldnt agree more nik, i dont think it has annoyed anyone, if the design can be bettered by some good constructive critisism then why not say?
thats what the “show us your stuff” forum is about anyway…

no, i see what you mean after i just read back.. i agree with you on what you have said actualy. i just didnt comment because it/you had already said it. i personaly liked the print and the effect created by it, but not the cut vinyl work. (just my opinion of course) but by the time i had replied.. anything i would have added had been said, if not by you by others..

i actually hold back from replying in some posts. not for any other reason other tahn allowing others to post first. constructive critisism is sometimes a punch on the chin when we dont see it for ourself. but, one thing for sure.. we think about it before doing the same in the next design & thats what it is all about… of course 😀
