    HI Uksignboarders

We bought a new van maybe 9mths ago.
had magnetics on the doors for awhile till we decided what to put on it.
got all the staff to think tank some ideas, then came up with a few designs. ( the logo we already had ) then voted on the ideas
this is what we came up with.

I can tell you people on the street love it. They think we made a clear door or have no door at all. At the very least they are looking at taking notice. The passenger side doesn’t have the door graphic, thinking about doing that side but with a small dog or cat resting on the seat .

    Hi Shane,

    Thanks mate.
Funny thing is they are not my legs, should have got our installer
( his legs ) to sit in the car for the photo, but still looked ok.
we have a large range of heights with our staff from 5’6" to 6’4"
    so its pretty funny,

Yes we did enter it in the show, with a few other projects for customers.
First time we have entered the sign awards.
going to the show also, looking at a UV printer
so will probably see you there

    Good onya Tim.

Mate I’m not going to sydney this year. With my Knee injury and op, my wrist injury and op and dads quad bypass op, its been 8 months of negative growth here 😛 so I’m not very flush with the dollars this year 😕

With all the goings on, I didn’t finish up entering this year either unfortunately. Always next year tho. Seen some of the work entered from up here mate, competition will be close this year.

Hope you do well mate. Hows your dad?

Let us know how you go in september for the awards too.

    Cheers

I showed this to the missus (didn’t say what it was), and told her about this mad aussie driving round with this van……
She looked at the photo in disbelief, and thought you were nuts :lol1: :lol1: :lol1: :lol1: :lol1: :lol1: :lol1:
Then I told her it was a digiprint on the door.
She couldn’t believe it…great job mate.

    Firstly Shane,
Thanks for forwarding the photos to Image magazine.

At the Recent ASGA ( australian sign and graphic awards ) we where awarded silver for our shop van. Was a big night for all who attended.
tied in with the Sydney sign show.

Anyway thanks everyone for your comments.

No probs mate. Really pleased you won something. The winner must have been good if you got second place. 😮

I got featured in the last image mag too, with my hand…. as an example of what will happen if you don’t pay attention when you work with a sharp knife 😳 Oh well, at least some good will come from it I hope :lol1:

They may have to re operate…. not happy about that as I can’t afford to have another 6 to 8 weeks off without an income again, so I’ll be trying everything else I can 1st 😕

    Cheers
