Valuejet 1204 not printing Magenta
Hi i have a Valuejet 1204 running sun inks and a bulk system my problem is it was printing fine until the other day when it bleeped up that magenta was running low and it changed the colour to brown.. i got new smart cards and changed the magenta one and it now reads 100% full, gave it a strong clean but its still printing reds as browns does anyone know how i fix this, any help much appreciated..
ps its running thru flexi 8.1 as its RIP

It could be that your pump is not working efficiently and running a powerful clean has not actually done much pulling through for that particular head. Try looking in the damper and along the ink line to see how far back the brown looking ink runs back. Also, if this is the case, you could try printing a large block of just magenta and that would force the ink through a little without the need of the pump.
