When I worked for a major brewing company we used to make Asda Ale and Asda lager. These were quite literally watered down versions of the decent beer brands our company produced. True the prices were cheaper but the supermarket beer was weaker and tasted awful. Since those days I’ve always been suspicous of supermarket brands. 😕
