  • VAC Bruges – Jacob Van Maerlant 140 metres etch

    This video shows the 140 metres long glass panels with 3M Series 7725 etch vinyl applied on inside, used the 3M prespace application tape.

    Each glasspanel was 3 metres wide, with vinyl height 1,2 metres.

    Installation took two whole days, first day with 2, second day with 4.
    Second day was a real organisation, because each office was only free for use for a certain time, so had to move from one to another a few blocks further… and then go back and so on…

    Preparation (cutting/peeling one man : 15 hours)

    Well the building is named after an ancient writer named Jacob Van Maerlant, and the etch contains a part of his work written in old dutch language 🙂
