Just spotted the amount of users online just now… could we break our long term online users record today? 😮
In total there are
557 users online
14 Registered
0 Hidden
543 Guestsunlike other sign sites that have their stats set at over a two hour period, some even 24hr, our stats are based on an approx 5 minute period of traffic.
oh well, heres hoping we break it, that stats been same for too long now :lol1: :lol1: :lol1: :lol1:

in honesty though i havent a clue mate… i think its weird as sometimes i have been online at around 3am and the stats are up at 200-300 but no regsitered users online… oh well, if it changes then good. if not… it will happen one day.
i personally dont go by the stats on homepage, i prefer to monitor the ones on the sites server. always better getting an overall view of the ups and downs of the traffic over a long period of time. -
could be the new forum layout I guess.
not so confusing for some I guess ?

Lynn, that will be one reason but there will be many other reasons why people wont register and take part. Some of the guests are probably members who have just popped in for a quick look and havent signed in. I do this sometimes myself so I am sure there will be others.

how many billion hits does youtube.com take per week, yet i bet only a small percentage load videos each week with any real sort of content.
mikes right though, only a tiny portion of the traffic actively participate.
shame it wasnt more… 🙄 then again, i doubt moderating would be possible without an small army :lol1: :lol1: :lol1: yesterday we had 380 posts in 24hrs… thats allot of cat and mouse for one day 😉 :lol1: :lol1: :lol1: -

okay, so, I just went online and read the worries. As a new person to this forum I can say you don’t look scary or weird at all!! Going online for a ‘chat’ is still a bit tricky for me. I don’t live in broadband land. And the dial-up of 28 kbs makes using the internet very tedious sometime. But we might get broadband next week or so. Finally!!! So you might here more from me then! Although in terms of signmaking I might not have that much to contribute… I am still learning…… 😀

Lets hope your broadband gets sorted out quickly as I can still remember what a pain dial up was for me. As for contributing, well I am sure you have noticed by now that it’s not all about signmaking and if you are just starting out I expect you will be asking some questions which counts as contributing.
