  • Use of Magnetic signs

I recently bought a new roll of magnetic sheeting and noticed the manufacturers advice for the care of magnetic signs had been re-worded to account for the fact that the use of magnetic sheet for vehicle signs may, in exceptional circumstances, result in damage to vehicle paintwork.

The revised wording is as shown on the attached.

I reckon it’s a good idea to give a printout to any customers purchasing a magnetic sign

    Thanks for that Phil.

I already give out a care sheet but as you say it is not as
specific as this one in relation to possible damage.

    Cheers

Just doing a big 8ft long job, that will come in handy thanks Phil, although I have explained to the customer that there could be possible issues.

Ive just laid up a nice leaflet with the above info on, and while I was busy I thought maybe it would be a good idea to add this as a footnote…….

The act of placing an order verbally or in writing will mean that (your company name here) will not be held liable for any loss or damage to your vehicle howsoever caused whilst using this product.

    What do you guys think?
