    Nylon.

Got 40 bags being delivered tomorrow, need to be ‘branded’ as it were by Friday, now in a panic as don’t know where to purchase textile stuff for nylon, for delivery tomorrow. Tried Grafytip, expensive, already gave price to customer, so not much margin to work on.
could try printing onto Metamark printable (in stock) but haven’t a profile for "hot pink".

    Any ideas, quickly, anyone, please?

    Thanks

    HI Lorraine

This might not be much help but I did some jackets a while back and Target Transfers said none of there transfer vinyl was suitable for nylon, I tried the Premium cadcut stuff and it worked well, they said it might work but could not guarantee it.

It worked on that occasion but not sure in your case and doesn’t sound like you have time to test it (or product to test it on 😕 )

    Good luck

Premium has worked for me too. Only thing to be careful is that on some nylons you have to lower the temperature to print at 140c and not the usual 165+, or the nylon will melt. There is a special vinyl for nylon. Surprised your suppliers dont have it as its readily available over here.

Hi Warren, sorry, missed your post in my panic!
Have spoken to Target, who had several ‘pinks’, including a fluorescent, which would be ideal, suitable for nylon, but cant deliver until Thursday-but it was 4.55, so will now try and print, using a profile which I will get from the Metamark website tomorrow.
If that doesn’t work I will have time to order from Target for delivery Thursday, and will just have to get a production line going!!!!

Denise, Dorotape not able to help, but target as above. Thanks Chris too.
If anyone has tried printing a really vibrant pink with success, would you mind sharing the CMYK or profile with me please?

    Thanks again for your help.

I printed an 80% magenta (not versaworks colour system) just a straight 80% mag and it was very bright.

    sorry not a great picture

Thanks for the picture Warren, I would guess from that, that Chris is still on the money, I shall try 85% magenta and see how that goes.

    Cheers
