  • Update to New ecosol max inks

    1) 440 ml cart
    2) VASTLY superior scratch resistance (superior to solvents)
3)Vastly superior solvent/chemical resistance (in realtion to eco sol ,tho still falls short of true agressive solvents)
    4) VASTLY superior drying time (to eco and solvent inks) Dry almost as soon as it comes off the machine
    5) 15% cheaper overall (on bigger cart)
    6) Hot swappable , no need to flush system when changing
    7) No maintenance overhead , no extra cleaning cycles
    8) Better colour gamut , better reds , better blues , superior to solvent and ecosol.
    9) Reduced smell.
I saw real life demos , videos and samples – BUT have NOT actually tested the inks MYSELF.

    Rodney,

How sure are you regarding “hot swappable” ?
I was told I would need to flush the old inks out.

That is what I was told , I assume it only applys to machines running ecosol inks , I’m not sure what you run?

I am using EcoSol at the moment.

It would be great if they could be hotswapped.
I wonder if it would be possible to just replace individual cartridges
as they run out or whether all need to be done at the same time.
    Interesting times ahead…

funny, same sort of comments about mimaki JV3 ink about 10 months ago when 220>440 jump happened. However the JV3 ink is supposed to be true solvent… hmm. However we don’t have any issues

    I’ve just ordered some inks for the VersaCAMM from RolandDG UK and I also asked about the EcoSol Max inks and the reply was;

“They should be available in September”

    Let’s see what happens 😉
