    Hi All,
I’m looking for a supplier of ultra clear anti-glare window film available by the metre. I have a customer who we made some reverse print glass display panels for who is having issues with light reflecting off the front of the glass at certain times of day making it hard to see the graphics.
Initially I thought just a matt laminate applied to the front of the glass might work but with the glass being 8mm thick it makes the image look too hazy, So I’m looking for something that literally just stops the light reflection without affecting the clarity.

Not sure what you mean by Ultra Clear?
Anti Glare by definition a works by reducing the amount of light and vision though the window.
Any reduction in the amount of light passing through the window both reduces the vision and increases the reflection on the outside of the window so making it harder to see into a window.
Some of the lightest window films such as a Visible Light Transmission 70% films will be optically clear for looking from the inside out but will still increase the amount of reflection when looking from the outside in, so the two characteristics you are looking for are physically incompatible

Hi Stuart, I think I get what you’re saying, but I think you may possibly have misunderstood & also I may not have explained correctly what I am looking for.

I perhaps should not have called it a window film as I’m not looking to put it on the windows & reduce light into the space but rather put something on the front of the reverse printed graphic glass panels to make them satin or matt & therefore reducing the reflection on them from the adjacent windows.

I’ve tried a couple of matt vinyl laminates but as mentioned they end up making the glass TOO frosted & make the graphics harder to see.
I understand that technically anything like this may reduce the visibility through the glass but am looking for something with the LEAST impact on clarity.
I know the adhesive on the back of a lot of "clear" vinyls although clear is not optically clear, but it is possible to get some with an "ultra clear" adhesive which is optically clear. I guess that is what I was hoping might need available just with a matt face.

Non-reflective glass (or glass coating) is available in the picture framing market, but it loses clarity the further away it is from your artwork or object, which basically means that it wont work for you, Myles

Hi Simon, yes I think the thickness of the glass is the issue unfortunately
