I don’t think I have voted on that 1, I actually thought the question was silly., I think we are going to say “the site is good” etc. or we wouldn’t be here.

Dave we do get some peeps here who dont like the site/members and only pop along to try to cause bad feelings or try to stir things up or just to pick holes in the site and all of us lot who contribute …… 😕 In the process of doing that we all get to voice an opinion and in doing so they just make themselves look a bit silly … thats just my opinion anyway!!!!!

probably cowbows anyway. The truth hurts sometimes, may not have liked some comments expressed here. At least they have an opportunity to express an opinion. Not that way on other sites from experience.

Thing that gets me is that less than 10% of members actually took the time to vote 😕
To put a positive spin on it tho, less than 0.2% think its poor. Not worth worrying about really 🙄

OK its a fair question and I’ll put my hand up it was me, I think this is a terrible site and I wouldn’t give Mr Lambie the time of day.
There are far better sites about, this one is only any good for a bit of a laugh. -

do you think it can be improved hugh? if so, please say mate, im all ears… i mean that in a positive way. one thing i can honestly say is i am “always” looking for ways to improve this site.
my biggest downfall with the boards is the time i have to dedicate to it. if it wasnt for andrew, carrie, nik and my missus… ide be lost! each one really help me out to get on with other stuff… like i said, if you have a suggestion, i am all ears! 😀 -

I would guess that Martins 1636 postings over a period of 3 years + and that if on average people visit these sites 4 to 5 times more than they make said posts would mean that he visits the site 50+ times a week at least. I could be wrong but that indicates that there must be something of interest and value on this site after all. As far as being good for a Laugh well – the humour is Ok but not that good – have a look at Shane’s’ jokes if you don’t believe me, mind you he did have the flu when he posted these! 😉 😉 😉

everythong done by our members catches ip’s dave… just one of the ways we have caught out bogus members in the past. its not 100% but sure does narrow things down to a handful if not pinpoint mirror accounts etc
like all things on the net there are ways round it. 😀 -

I didnt mean to imply that i thought anything was wrong with it at all ! just that maybe someone can have a valid reason for thinking the way they do, if they do, i cant see it, but each to their own opinion ! i’ve been a moderator before on a message board,[ tho i got demoted after messing with some blokes post, he was so serious about everything and didnt get the joke that was running thru the thread, so with some coersive encouragement from others, I ‘livened up’ his post somewhat, just changing the odd word here and there… such as ….held my mates ‘screwdriver’, to…. held my mates ‘old boy’, man, it was so funny, people were crying with laughter, but he didnt see the funny side of it and insisted that the culprit be shot, i immediately owned up and they made do with demoting me ! I’d still do it again !! ]
so i know how much work has to be put in on these things, i wouldnt want it !
anyways, other than not being able to reply to a ‘fully paid up member’ when they pm me, i’ve no gripes at all, i understand the site is here to make a profit aswell as serve us lot, and in time i’ll join proper like, for now tho i’ll just sit back, get involved where i feel i cant shut up, and continue to enjoy this great resource.
