  • UKSB Online Shop NOW OPEN!

Posted by Robert Lambie on March 26, 2003 at 3:28 am

the UKSG online shop is now OPEN on a trial basis & can be used by anyone in the UK.
international sales will be accepted, but not for around 3-4 weeks.

If anyone has any questions or problems regarding the new online shop.
    Feel free to ask here…

I would like to ask an initial question of,

“How do you find the shop to browse” is it hard, easy? Confusing?
Are there any areas you do not understand?

If I can eliminate problems now, it will make life a lot easier for me in weeks to come when stock will Increase on a regular basis.

The general feel/layout of the shop may change as i get more time to work on it, rather than just load links 😆 there will be much more links appearing in the form of help and product info & pictures. somthing i regard important, when buying online.

    Thanks for any replies..

    hi Robert.

I have just sent you a message, via the “problems” button, after I sent it, it told me I had sent an application to Europoint.

In case you don`t get the e-mail, I ask the questions again.

Do you offer a vinyl slitting service?

and now that you are sell your owm products, will the uk signboard discounts from Euro point stop?

    thanks Kev

What’s the URL or is it secret? I can’t find a link anywhere, perhaps I’m blind. (?)

Either tell me or have me put down, the agony is unbearable (hot) (hot) (hot)

    Chalkie:
Thanks mate.. I’ll sort that link out tonight..

    Joe:
Thanks mate.. Yes all vinyl’s sold in the shop should be cheaper than the off the shelf price the suppliers
Sell it at. They agreed with me that the only real incentive people buy online is to buy cheaper.
So prices were undercut and all made the same, regardless to who is the supplier.

    Becky:
Cheers mate, I did get your e-mail & have replied. Thanks.
There is a slitting service but its not incorporated into the shop yet. Once I get the sea of vinyls loaded ill start fine-tuning and adding functions to request slitting.
With regards to discount through the group. No they won’t stop, now vinyl is on sale here.
UKSG members buy at a lower rate than what is on offer here. The shop is to cater for none-members of the group and also to offer better deals in areas the group buying would not work. So “no” all is as it were.. UKSG
Will still run as it has until now… no changes planned at all…

    Texcat:
I make a horrible virtual coffee mate.. But it is better than my spelling.. 😮
The site being down this morning.. hmmm don’t tell me that mate!!!
Not sure why if it was.. Ill look into it. Thanks for mentioning it.

    Ruth:
Shop button can be found in navigation bar to the left of the screen.

    Jon:
Easyshop is neither a domain nor a company. Infact it’s not even a shop. I have just titled it this as a type of gimmick.
When you enter, you will quickly see the shops are called something different altogether.. What I mean is there is no “one” shop as such.. The names have just been made to categorise the supplies and make navigation “easier” 😉

    Phill:
Thanks mate.. I very much hope so. The extra income to the site will help finance it better. Which will ultimately
Go towards improvements, running costs, advertising if anything is left. My time.
Phill, I would also like to thank you for placing an order today. Much appreciated mate. 😉

Well I just thought I would let you know that since the shop opened on Wednesday we had a few orders come through for vinyl’s.
I sent some e-mails out to those who ordered I am glad to say that they all confirmed they received their vinyl’s on time, as requested.
This put a big smile on my face as it shows me the whole system of ordering goods from our online shop works a treat… it also gives me the confidence in the shop to start adding more products as I promised I would. 😉
I will add products daily until all I have has been loaded. This may take some time though as we have a endless number of special effect vinyl’s and brands. Please bare with me on this. 😳

If anyone is unsure about buying online in the shop or has any products they would like to suggest should be on sale, then please feel free to say. Im all ears! 😀
