UKSB Fridge
Posted by Andrew Boyle on June 17, 2009 at 9:15 amDo you think it would be good idea to have a fridge [noticeboard] idea where you just posted a picture of a an inspirational sign or graphic you had come across.
I would imagine it to be just images….and as it progressed have a vehicle fridge etc.
Guess I’m just struggling for ideas at the moment 😳 😀 😀Scott.Evans replied 14 years, 10 months ago 7 Members · 11 Replies -

I suspect if a fridge is introduced Rob will just fill it up with his Bacardi Breezers 😕

quote Scott Evans_21:heres 1 for the fridge. this badge is massive in real life, dose anyone know who built it?
i think it would be a good idea to have a fridgeI think…I did that couple of years back, not 100% will have to go through the old invoices
😀
Andrew I think it’s a great idea, was out doing a bit of work this morning and saw a couple of inspirational bits

Andrew i think its a very good idea… its an easy thing for people to participate in due to mobile phones, cameras and also Internet finds.
i thought about having a thread on the homepage (signextra) a few years ago based on a diary type thing based on weekly or monthly sign finds of my own. funny enough Andrew it was a post you made some years ago whilst on holiday that made me think about it…
you had taken a stream of photos which you posted and called the thread, i think… "on my travels" from memory you included the old sign for the Steps bar in Glasgow, whilst others where abroad?
anyway, it was that thread that made me think it would be a good idea to have a diary thread of pictures but this suggestion would be better as its not confined to one person.i can babble on cant i? 😕 :lol1:
anyway… the only stipulation would be that the pictures MUST be attached to the post made using the upload fascilities provided and that any pictures posted cannot be branded with other website names. by that i mean like uksb does with its own pictures to prevent the pictures simply being lifted and used elsewhere.

Don’t be silly Rob (sleep)
Idea sounds like a goer then.
Can’t remember seeing that Andrew.. very nice

OK clicked on thinking Rob had just completed a "fridge wrap" with the UKSB logo 😮
Now I see the point as a place for inspiration (though the members portfolio section is stuffed with that)

The members portfolio is just that though graeme, The Members own work, but this is purely signs, vehicles etc that we see out and about on our travels etc
It will also be "one" single post title with all the replies containing the attachments. so not a new post every sign we find etc -

Cant beat a bit of inspiration on a wet miserable summers day.
Could it be like the snippets box, with changing images of the most recent uploads with the thread opening up on click?
