Hey Mort…
When I get a particularly jagged font such as Mistral or Bradley
(which is so hideously ugly I have no clue as to why anyone would want it)
I edit it by erasing the extra nodes with my sign software until it looks smoother. Depending on your program, you should be able to do this as well. It makes it easier for us to cut, and usually the client can’t tell the difference.

Hi Jill
yep the customer is going to pay my computer time if that is needed 🙂 but he seems to think that the bold version isn’t as jagged ( looking at the font on the web i think it is)

Hi Mort,
we were not able to get the bold version so had to contour the regular version to appear bold, our client wanted the jagged option, thats what he requested & to be honest the final result looked really good.
So we dont have the bold version Im afraid only regular, do you still want it?

Hi Carrie
I have the regular version thanks, at 17 inches it looks too jagged, and the customer agrees, so they are going to get the buy the bold one , i doubt there will be much differance so i’ll have to smoothe it off, at an hourly rate 😉

I don’t think there will much difference in it ……. still be loads of jigs & jags 😛 But as you say as long as they are willing to pay you to smooth it out …. then no probs 😉
