Never really done many curtain sided vehicles but I know you are supposed to use proper truck vinyl for them, the question is, can it be removed easily as the customer only wants it on there for 12 months?

I’m guessing it is not an easy vinyl to remove..

it is a nightmare to remove and can leave lots of adhesive.
would suggest a good banner material but you will only get a few months "if your lucky".

I got my truck vinyl from APA…it was on for a year and came off with no bother…prob depends on the colour you’ve used…white was fine.

    Hi

Another thumbs up for APA, not used a massive amount but worked really well, stripped OK but more glue to clean than regular vinyl – not a problem but just takes a little longer

    Cheers

as I knew it was short term and on brand new curtains, i just wiped off and didn’t meths the curtains before hand so that may have helped…didnt leave any glue…Id say don’t use tar and glue remover on curtains as they could be effected.

We have been using Avery Signflex for curtain over the past 15years and found when its down its down and as Robert says can be a nightmare to come off.

Not used APA as far as i’m aware so cant comment on that.

Lately we’ve been using inks to do curtains tho.

From what i hear, new curtains are coming with a coating on them that protects them from weathering quicker and like cheryl says, if this is not cleaned off with any kind of solvent then you may have a better chance of getting the vinyl off after a short period.

All i can say is best wishes removing vinyl from a curtain
