  • Truck lettering before & after

Here’s a project from Christmas Eve.
Actually this started about 3 years ago when the company decided to have me design their new logo.
It might look kind of "spare" compared to what they used to have, size wise.
But I think it’s a much more modern, cleaner look for them.
This was a bucket truck but all I had was my cell phone for pix.
There is more info on the back of the truck such as phone # and website.
    Love…..Jill

night and day jill… so much better.

the first picture looks very amateurish, something we see far too much of these days…

    well done. 😉

Like the others have said looks a lot better than it did, you must have used proportional resizing as not only is the text smaller but the tree has shrunk to a leaf :lol1: :lol1:

    Well, your the lady.

    Great lettering as ever Jill.

Love your choice of fonts and your layouts are so on the money.

You really ought to be teaching this stuff cos your work and designs
    never cease to amaze me.

    Keep it up gal…. 😀

Very tidy and memorable logo, infinitely better than before. Bit of quality always wins out on a plastering of nasty layout.

just goes to show how scaling things down and laying things out properly is so much more appealing and easier to read than filling a panel with large text

No comparison Jilly. Well done. A brilliant example of increasing size does not increase readability!

    Yeah! Like it!
Hope they did something about the rust around the door though!
Scabby paint work detract from what is a very nice job,

Love the first one, second one doesn’t work for me.

    The bigger the better!

Maybe a strap line in brush script would have topped it off perfectly.

    😀 😀 only joking babe!!

    I’m glad everyone likes it.
    Thanks for the nice words.
Yes, it was a new truck, the fugly one is the old truck (hence the rust)
They have more new trucks needing lettered as well.

I started to read the thread and scrolled down to the first picture and thought ouch! I really don’t like that, not like Jill’s usual work 😳 I was greatly relieved when I scrolled to the second picture.
    Really nice Jill
