    Hi

    I asked about this before and some helped by sorting out the file for me but could anyone tell me if im doing something wrong, a printer i work with brought me a file he has made for a chinese menu and when opened with Acrobat it is perfect but when i import into flexi it scatters the text which is then twice the work to get it right again

    what am i doing wrong, please help….

    You are probably not doing anything wrong it is just a font issue. I found that the only sure way was to have fonts converted to curves and as this is not often practical I bought Pstill (www.pstill.com) amongst other features it will convert text/fonts to curves and flatten transparencies allowing virtually all pdf to be imported into another programme or rip without issue. I use X5 and Signlab and although these are pretty good they still trip up occasionally – Pstill has always sorted.
