Trouble importing AI files from Signlab to Easysign
Something has made my plotter ‘lose the plot
i always export from signlab as a AI to cut in Easy sign however something has gone amiss and current files i save and export appear in easysign as a broken lineprevious saved files as AI are still opening correctly in Easy
is it a setting in sign lab that’s gone wrong / any ideasIm sure this has happened before but can remember what cured it

why dont you just cut from signlab?
Anyway if you post one of the signlab files as a cdl and an ai I will have a look

i cant submit files on here as there is no upload facilty
pm me and i will send some overmy plotter came with easy and it was originally set up like that

Hi Terry,
Doesn’t your Signlab work your plotter? I’d cut from Signlab rather than wasting my time exporting and clogging up my hard drive with files that doesn’t need to be there.

I have both these programmes and find the SL cutting part better than the Easysign one albeit I have Easy Sign V4. The broken line is a contour cut line I think.

Thanks for the help but this is hard to explain but i left the thing alone for a few hrs before i blew a fuse and then resaved the work as i usually do and
was able to open as normalIve not changed anything but it seems to have cleared itself
After i spent an afternoon trying all options
