  • Transfers onto Orange Fireproof Overalls ??

Posted by Dave Scott on November 10, 2012 at 9:13 pm

Hi, Ive had someone come in with orange fire proof overalls, they are wanting a 2 colour design (black & yellow) into the back aprox 260×100 mm, can anyone advise me on the best way forward ? Could i use transfer papers ? And if so do i need a special type as they are to go onto fireproof overalls ?

    Thanks
    Dave

We have screenprinted them in the past, but always offer a word of caution to the buyer. The garments are treated so might hinder the image staying on….

Thanks Denise , I don’t screen print , we already their embroidery , and they are wanting to get it all done in the same place, could you recommend a transfer paper that maybe would work ? Or another method ? Also another customer is wanting a photo onto silk or it maybe satin , it’s a shiny material lol , would I have issues with transfer paper onto this ?
    Thanks Denise

Try one and see how it goes.

We`ve been caught out a few times with garments we are unfamilier with, the customer says just go for it, then comes back when it starts to peel off.

You just got to cover you`re butt.
