This is the very talented Mike Kenny in Galway, my home town.

We’ve never had the pleasure of meeting, but I’ll be back for christmas and might give you a bell, mike, and go for a pint!

The Bunch of grapes was my regular haunt!
Say hello to Tom and Mary for me.

Here’s a bit more of Mike’s stuff – top notch!
    Cheers
    Joe

PS Is John Herrick still painting signs as well, seem to remember there was only ever the two of you doing that type of work.

    Niiice!
My great-great grandfather came from Galway.
I don’t think he was a signwriter tho.
It’s good to see someone pushing a brush (or pencil)
    love….Jill

    hi guy’s
thanks for all the kind comments, it would be nice to see some more brush work, but unfortuneately a lot of the shopfronts have disappeared mainly due to inaction by the city council, the older part of Galway is medieval but is now covered in a sea of large multi-national chains, with only a handfull of the older shopfronts left. – i also do vinyl but paint is my first love!!
    thanks again

There are Loads of Welsh’s in GALWAY Jill – the name comes from the welsh mercenaries who came over with the Normans
    cheers
