Great work Alan..
Did you also do the gallows bracket, or was it existing?
Very nice

Simon,
The bracket has been there since Adam was a lad.
The panel is new though, cut to the same shape as the original, just been a different person with the brush this time.

Beautiful Alan, is that in Grantham ? the one on the high street ?

Yep thatβs the one Steve.
Reputed to be the oldest British inn still in use.

Thought so, hey I know you’re a good signmaker but what are your tea makings skills like because I may come round one day for a cuppa and a natter π

Hi Steve
You would need a sit down and a cup of tea after seeing the confines of my work space and totally disorganised chaos. π π π

Great job Alan, I can really appriciate a job like this as when painting skills were being handed out I was absent, which is a real shame as I would dearly love to be able to do this sort of work. I should think it gives you a tremendous sence of satisfaction.
