Searched high and low a few weeks ago for such a thing, we ended up making one from scratch, the best I found were http://www.moranswoodcomponents.co.uk/A_Boards.html not cheap though.
Good luck!

I make all my own wooden sandwich, chalk and display boards myself as I too had difficulty finding decent suppliers with decent prices.

John,
what kind of budget?
I have a local joiner that will make them for me, bespoke. they’re sapelia (SP?) hardwood and come untreated, you just stain to the required colour. not cheap mind, last couple i did were to take a 4×2 5mm forex panel and cost about £280 trade! absolutely the best quality though, will last many years if looked after!

Sheesh, that’s well dear 😕
Is sapele the wood you mean? It’s a cheaper alternative to mahogany but nowhere near as strong, it’s also a bugger for knackering the sharp edges on your tools 👿
