The edge lits had a lot of comments, all positive luckily, and the dye sub stuff was extremely well recieved.
The wooden sign was made by the grain as I said I would display it for them,
and the lighthouse is crystal etch on 3mm acrylic mounted on standoffs.
The dibond sign on top was an emergency 10 minute job for the benefit of dumb people,
I had a few come up to a stand full of signs, T shirts. and dye sub items and
most significantly a 700 x 300mm blue glowing edgelit sign with our company namne and what we do on it
    and ask
"So what do you do then"? 😮

So what sort of trade show was it Steve and did you get any orders on the day or was it a case of just speaking to people and handing out info?

As for the " What do you do then" questions, yes it sounds a bit dumb but I think with some people it is just a way to start up a convrsation.

I had lots of interest in the edge lits and the dye sub stuff, no firm orders but the only one who did was the coffee machine people I think, there were 2 signmakers there, lots of my cards and flyers went out though and there seemed to be a lot of interest, espoecially frm guest houses for the coasters place mats, mugs etc, and also for edge lit vacancy signs etc.

I know about them starting a conversation but the one woman who swayed me to go make the sign actually genuinely didnt seem to know :lol1:
I just sneaked off and made it and came back before anyone noticed.

That stand looks a bit more pukka than when I saw it last Saturday Steve. Nice showing of your products. Trade shows are always a lottery but I think a necessary evil.

We did the business2business show at Exeter a few months ago, was a bit of a gamble but we wasn’t in the right location or took enough leads… a lot of people didn’t really come to the show in our thoughts.
