Does anyone know what this font is? I have a PDF with this font used and I thought it may have been CG Times Bold but it’s not recognizing it. If its a font I’ll buy it. Cheers Jason

It’s a bog standard font. Did your computer not come with it already installed?

I thought it was a standard windows font? Perhaps I am wrong.

    quote Shane Drew:

Don’t think so Shane. It’s certainly in the standard Mac set.

    Hey guys,

I’ve already got Times New Roman Bold.

I am trying to open a PDF in illustrator a client supplied and it’s saying I’m missing the font "TIMES-BOLD".

The client isn’t computer savvy and isn’t in contact with the person who did the artwork any longer. Maybe its a mac font?

If you open it as a PDF you can see the font and see if its the same?

Hey Nick it looks the same but if I try and substitute it in illustrator its all out of wack. Theres like a custom shadow behind it which is done as a seperate object and I can’t get them to line up. thought it would be easier to just get the same font on my system.

If you can post the PDF I can convert it to curves for you?

    Thanks Nick,

Its the Universal text thats on all the labels. I only need one its the one with those leaf images near it with the shadow behind the text.

    Cheers

Rob needs to give you FONT GURU status on the boards Nick. Yet another time you’ve helped me with my font related issue.

If I can ever help you out drop me a line.
