    We don’t get much severe weather here in Southern California. Last night around 3am we were treated with a show. It started with a huge clap of thunder. I was sleeping with my windows open so it made me jump out of bed. My friend that is a pro photographer took these photos.

    Nope, he’s all digital now. Nikon, I believe.

    Edit: Well I guess it still is an SLR, right? But it’s digital, not 35mm.

    i have used the Nikon 8700.. was £500 now £300.. amazing Digital SLR type-camera!

    im still keeping my nikon 35mm for black and whites….no digital camera can beat them 😀

    I’ve still got my old Pentax MX from 1979! Bloody brilliant.

    I just have an old Canon 650, it was one of the first of the EOS line. I used to use it with a 200-400mm lense for surfing photos. It takes about 3 shots per second, slow compared to todays cameras, but it was cheap when I bought it. Don’t use it as much anymore now that I don’t work in a photo department and have to pay for my prints.

    Marek were you ever a photographer’s assistant? (measely pay, LONG hours, feet hurt for days…….like me?? 😕 )
    I miss the fumes from the lab when I would drop off film :lol1:
