Thought I’d share this with the group. Trying out new skis today, if I go quiet for a while, they were too fast for me

the thought of skiing frightens the hell out of me, I break bones too easily

enjoy kev. i started this year and having soiled many of my underpants, i can proudly say i now have some control/skill and am hitting the blue runs!

I have snow to mate, but slush snow, grey sky and no ski’s! 🤨 🤣

I think today, ambition far outstripped talent. New skis, 3mm of wax & no thought for my own safety. Think polaris missile full of chips & curry sauce & you’ll get the picture

Never been skiing. I think I’d end up broken.

Honestly mate, going like a lit cat on skis is the most harmless thing in the world. However, the sudden stop is not something I’d recommend. But to be fair, they hurt less & less until the big one at the end when its goodnight Vienna

I wonder whether all hotels in the Pyrenees smell like Ralgex & Deep Heat? All the ones I’ve stayed in certainly do.

I have tried to ski once and I think it is best if I stick to sledging because I end up sliding down the hill on my bum anyway! 😳

Well that’s me done for this trip. Beaten a few personal bests, terrified myself on a number of occasions & left a brand new crater on mount arcalis. Watch out for it anyone who’s planning a visit, it’s a big one.
