  • The Stone Roses – Guitar Wraps for World Tour

Some may remember me posting pictures of the guitars I had received to custom wrap for Mani of The Stone Roses for their current come-back World Tour.
So I thought I would post the end results…

As you will notice, both guitars have been stripped back to allow me to apply the wrap/design.

The design concept is based on my older brother Jim’s work as an Artist.
He gave me the brief on exactly how he wanted it to look and we basically did our best to implement it.

The Yellow/black stripes one was done using layers of Avery wrapping vinyl.
The Chrome guitar was done using multiple layers of both Avery and 3M wrapping film.

If you look close you may see even the smallest of nicks here and there in the vinyl, This is not damaged, but actually, pin holes I had to create in the vinyl’s so as the Music store could easily find the screw holes to reassemble all the parts as before.

Great job Rob, was looking forward to seeing them finished.
Are you putting them on Facebook? Have a few Roses fans as friends who would love to see them.

"Dave Hill" Thats the man! ๐Ÿ˜€
Noddy was the scary looking one, but Dave was a close second. :lol1:
I saw them live back in the 70’s. Really great performance but I think me and my mate were the oldest ones there. ๐Ÿ˜ณ
