  • the "Vista sign system" have you used it?

has anyone got any experience of this stuff. We saw it last year at signuk being promoted by an israeli company but since ashby are stocking it I’ve took a bit more notice. It looks really nice when finished and the combinations are endless.

Has anyone used it or got any comments?

    Hi Andy
Thanks for the picture. Helps a lot.
Ive not used this system but I have done work on one almost the same.
They are very easy to work with & look very professional.
When you have something like this for a directory board. then it gives you a whole new scope when it comes to the designing of the graphics.
The one I did, needed a re-vamp. So what I did was to take out the old slats, which were deep red. Applied the company crest in maroon over all the slats and then slit them. I then used a cream text to indicate the floor numbers and the company divisions on each slat. Looked excellent and the company was well pleased. Not only had they got a new look but didn’t have to pay for a new board…

I’ve used them twice to date. Easy to work with and looks very presentable. I would have no hesitation in recommending their stuff. 😀

    Thanks lads,

The only thing I am worried about is that they need to be changed quite regularly, and I’m just a bit concerned that they won’t be. Any comments?

We have the same problem with the direx system (very expensive and a pain to work with!)

How do you actually fit the vista sign to the wall?

    hi andy
i think these type of signs have brackets behind the slats. you remove the slats and that gives you access to the brackets once its fitted you slide in the slats and that hides the fixing brackets…

im actualy thinking of aproaching ashby about group discount.
i have a new supplier on the go just now so if all is well ill try them with some others once i confirm the new deal with the new supplier… i prefer to go one at a time so i get things signed on the dotted line. this way our group doesnt get messed about.
