Is this the naffest Range Rover EVER? Louis Vuitton car pushes the boundaries of good taste to the limit?

It is often said that money can’t buy taste. And this Overfinch Range Rover proves the cliche to be true.
The top of the line car has been customised with the famous monogram of French fashion house Louis Vuitton, printed with a gaudy pink and white skunk stripe running its length and emblazoned with the owner’s initials – N.J.H – on the bonnet.

Spotted on a high street in Westbourne, Bournemouth, this is the ultimate status symbol for a fashion lover. And it certainly would not have come cheap.

An incongruous sight: A Range Rover wrapped with Louis Vuitton’s logo, featuring a gaudy pink and white stripe and emblazoned with the driver’s initials was spotted parked outside Iceland in a Bournemouth street
The Overfinch Range Rover is likely to have set the owner back around £100,000.

The finish is created courtesy of a so-called vehicle wrap printed with the LV logo. It is effectively a sticker – which means the owner can customise their car temporarily, without damaging the paint job or having to contact the DVLA with a colour change notification.
A simple matt coating costs around £2,000 to add to a car, but something like this more intricate coating would cost somewhere in the region of £3,000 to £3,500, an expert told MailOnline today

the Range Rover was modified by Leeds-based firm Overfinch, which specialises in enhancing range Rovers

The Range Rover was modified by Leeds-based firm Overfinch, which specialises in enhancing Range Rovers, although the coating would have been done by a third party
While Leeds-based firm Overfinch would have modified the Range Rover initially, they did not add the Louis Vuitton coating, which would have been carried out by a third party vehicle enhancement firm.
Other details would have been added by Overfinch, whose name appears on the Range Rover’s bonnet.
The firm has been enhancing Range Rovers since 1975 and has been fitting the cars with souped-up engines, bodykit and personalised interiors (including some with built-in champagne fridge) ever since.
The company have many famous fans, including Coleen Rooney, who is the proud owner of three Overfinch Range Rovers. Her relatively plain silver Overfinch Range Rover Sport GTS set her back £114,829 when she bought it last year, adding it to a collection that included a £95 black Overfinch TVD8 and a simpler £80,000 model.

Big fan: Coleen owns three of the Overfinch enhanced Range Rovers – this one set her back more than £114k
