I can’t agree more. No matter how tough a day I have it is always made better when you get home to smiling happy kids.

It must be a thing with kids and sand. A few weeks ago I took my 3 year old to the beach to make Sand Castles (or Sand Carstles as she poshly pronounces it). I explained that she needed to use the wetter sand to make them and not the dry stuff.

Ten minutes later and its lashing down with rain and an ecstatic 3 year old is soaked through to the skin building Sand Castles with the now wet sand!!

It’s still a spade in my eyes :lol1:

My youngest is 8 today, I woke up at 5am to get started on todays orders since I’m finishing at 3pm so we can go out to a skate park and he was up behind me…. insisted that he’s not going back to bed and wanted to get his prezzies at that time :lol1: :lol1: :lol1:

What a great experience Derek. The innocence of small child is such a wonderful thing. Its sad they grow up into teenagers……

Made my day reading your thread Derek. Thanks mate 🙂

Great story Derek, like some of the others it brought back some memories of my day trips out and day trips out with my own kids.
