Just had to share this emailed enquiry.
    Subject line was "quiery"

"Hi i was wonderin whether you do the design of the graphics for a company or would you need me to aquire them, if so what file format wud you need to be able to print them, many thanks. "

No name, no Company name and you’ve guessed it, a Hotmail account.

One for the deleted items folder.

I have seen a lot worse – a friend who sells antiquarian books just yesterday cane across someone who had on eBay stole one of his listings word for word exact format everything he asked her to remove she refused so he got ebay to remove it which they did. She wrote an email that was virtually unreadable due to bad grammar – no wonder she was stealing other peoples ads/listings.

Also reminds me of a reply to an I placed for a receptionist/admin person – reply was

    Hi

    How much you pay?

    What company are you

    When do I start?

    Elaine

Whilst nothing wrong with grammar the unbelievable attitude that with no introduction, charm, cv, (ad specifically asked for cv) or anything suggesting she could even do the job or intelligence (the name of my company was in the ad) that she seemed to think she had the job or even had a chance

Yeah, not sure if it’s happening in Britain but they are moving away from teaching cursive writing here. They figure the future of everything will be written with a keyboard. Pretty sad really IMO.

It is very sad, – the art of writing a letter or even writing anything is something quite special it will die and its a shame! – Sometimes when I write – i realise its been weeks that I took pen to paper and have to sort of practice? weird feeling! my writing is bloody terrible though most cant read it including me!
