My turkey has been in the oven about an hour.
I always love wrestling with the damn thing to get the neck out of the body cavity, my hands freezing, nobody else up.
Usually tired after 4 hours of making 6 pies the night before.
Then there’s the eggs to boil, the gravy to make, 10# of potatoes to peel before anyone in the house deigns to awaken.
Not that I’m complaining!
I am thankful to have all this food.
And friend like you folks.
