    🙂

Thanks for everyones support thru ’05.

I have learnt a lot this year from a lot of different people, and I hope I have been of some help too.

Looking forward to another year on these boards, and learning some more.

Thanks to everyone that contributes, and thanks to the moderators that work so hard, and thanks to Rob for letting us share his dream.

Drive safe, take care, and I look forward to contributing and learning some more next year.

Cheers, and regards to you and your families.

    Thanks Friends,

Peter, the more the better mate

    Rob, thanks again

Russ, I must confess I worry that I may post too much 😳 The wife thinks I spend way too much time here, but then there is nothing on telly, and where else can you actually interact with so many characters? Better than any TV show!

I am pleased that you find my posts entertaining… Thanks for your comments and support.

Shane i am with you on that one mate… never ending ear burning do i get… so much so, guess what she buys me for Christmas? a wireless networked laptop! she says that way i can at least sit with the family while I’m on the net. :lol1:
personally I’m not sure it was a good idea… i had my dinner with the boards next to me… watched TV with it next to me, went to bed browsing the net till 3.30am and when i woke the morning i leaned over and logged in, still in bed? 😕 now i don’t know if this is showing dedication or just plane “no life” 😳 but was the best Christmas present shes got me in years. :lol1: beats socks any day…. :lol1: :lol1: :lol1: now i just have to ditch the news paper in the toilet and take the laptop in 😮

Rob, you sound so much like me it scares me. 😮

I have had to buy my missus her own PC with adsl because she can not get enough time on this one.

I’d leave the newspaper in the loo tho mate, given the bad news in there some days, being on the loo when you read it is not such a bad thing 😳

My wife tends to think ‘no life’ is the best explanation for ‘our’ addiction too. For what it is worth, I think she may be right. 🙄

I’ve had nothing to do all day, it is way too hot to be outdoors, so I keep checking UKSB’s but everyone must have been asleep over there! 🙁

We don’t worry about xmas, but my wife got me a bottle of Baileys Irish Cream with her holiday pay the other day, all I have to do is find a straw.. 😮

I might suggest the laptop for next time instead, see how I go….

Rob don’t ditch the news paper in the toilet, if you must tear it into squares and loop some string through and hang it of the door 😀 I must also stress this is not an ideal way of recycling waste release paper IT’S LIKE BLACK ICE 😉 😉

shane, if we had that sorta weather mate ide be sorted. she loves the sun and would be out lying in it. giving me peace 😉 :lol1: :lol1: :lol1:
in all honesty though, i do find the net more intresting than tv these days. not just for the boards & the great folk we have grown to know on here but browsing in general. its like having the worlds biggest library at your finger tips.

    russ, too right mate… we always need backup 😮 :lol1: :lol1: :lol1:

jill, sticky? please explain? 😉 :lol1:

    Thanks very much Dave,

Rob, you got me thinking about my own communication requirements now, got the urge to go down to the computer store for a look see, finished up buying one of those Navman PDA’s with inbuit GPS/road map.

Need a pilots license to use the thing tho 😳

Don’t know what the hardest part is going to be… telling the wife I just spent $1000 or trying to work out how to pay for it….. although… trying to find the money to pay for it is chicken feed compared to actually convincing the missus I ‘really trully need it’ 🙂 😳

    … of course… I am blaming your wife 😮 😕

    Shane,

You did exactly the right thing with the Navman. I think it was somebody on this board who once said that it is easier to get forgiveness than permission. I live my life by that little motto now – that’s why I can hardly get in my garage. 😀

    John, wise words I’m sure….

… trouble is, I just told the wife, and she is measuring the interior of the dog house, mumbling something about not needing a gps to find my bed tonight…. is it just me or is it looking bad for me right now 😮 ?
