    I was talking to a car saleman yesterday, and he was telling me Tesco were seriously looking into selling cars at one point….. they’ll be making signs next.

    It’s not a new idea Cheryl and all the manufacturers have thought about it over the years but what kills it for them is how they can handle warranty repairs and servicing.

    If I remember correctly, Rover got the closest, and actually had some cars in Asda at one point, with a servicing deal at Halfords. It caused major dissatisfaction with the customers and was brought to a speedy halt.

    I don’t see how it could ever work.
