I was talking to a car saleman yesterday, and he was telling me Tesco were seriously looking into selling cars at one point….. they’ll be making signs next.

It’s not a new idea Cheryl and all the manufacturers have thought about it over the years but what kills it for them is how they can handle warranty repairs and servicing.
If I remember correctly, Rover got the closest, and actually had some cars in Asda at one point, with a servicing deal at Halfords. It caused major dissatisfaction with the customers and was brought to a speedy halt.
I don’t see how it could ever work.

yeh, and look what happened to Rover! whats that about butterflies and Hurricanes?

lets hope they never get into signs, we will all be working for them……………………price check please!!!!!
